Parenting
This is a fun listen but the truth in a lot of it is a bit troubling. The reason we include it here is because we found the comment about "raising your child" so poignant. So many parents are subscribing to pop psychology in raising their children, they want to be a friend before a parent. In the good ole days, parents just did what was natural using common sense. They were parents and they let the children find friendship with their peers.
On a related note about children, there's a book published in 2010, "I Love My Children, I Hate My Life", that discusses some interesting studies about parents and whether children make them happier than their single counterparts.
